The site's proximity to two Grade II listed buildings severely restricted the scope for development, as the planning authority placed a high priority on protecting the character and setting of the listed structures.
We took a collaborative approach, holding pre-consultation with the planning department, the highways agency, a conservation consultant and other relevant specialists, so that concerns could be addressed proactively.
